I am so sad that my term is up as an ODD Girl, I have been truly blessed and honored to be apart of this amazing team. I treasure all the friendships I have made and know that I will always stay connected to my Odd family <3 This opportunity has made me a better designer and colorist and I can see how much I have grown from the experience.

I have been a long time fan of this company and it's owner Kristy and want to say, if you have ever considered trying out for this team, do it, it's amazing.

I colored my image in using my Spectrum Noir Markers.

My entire card is also put together using misc. scraps of paper from my scrap bin, I just love when I can utilize them.

Some Odd Girl: Snow Queen Piper

Whimsie Doodles~ Spring in your Step March Challenge

Hello, hope you have all had a great weekend! It's time for a new monthly challenge over at the Whimsie Doodles Blog. This months theme is, Spring in your Step. You can interoperate this theme however you would like, Easter, flowers, critters all things spring. When I think spring, I think critters. Here in Minnesota we have really icky winters and one sign of spring in coming for us, is when the critters start coming around again.

 

 

Turtles are definitely a sign of spring especially when they are dressed like little bumble bees.

SugarPea Designs- Release Day!

Hello, TGIF!! The day has finally arrived, It's release day :D We have our last day of sneaks today, we are introducing, Sweet Sentiments – Home, SugarCuts – Home Sweet Home.

I put together are really cute and simple card for today's peek.

Pattern paper: Pebbles- Home Grown- Home Sweet Home

 

Using my die, I cut out the word HOME, four times out of really thick cardstock to layer and get a 3d look.

I used one of the sentiments from the new set to make it more personal.

I added some gold glitter enamel dots by Doodlebug Designs to each of the corner and than layers my mat on top of some ARC wood tape.

I just adore this stamp set and die so much. You can use the die in so many different ways, I decide to remove all the states and just use the outline.

SugarPea Design~ Sweet Sneaks Day 3

Welcome to day three of sweet sneaks! Launch day is right around the corner, I know everyone is excited to get their hands on these awesomely sweet stamps.

Today we are showcasing Hot Diggity Dog & SugarCuts- Homescape.

I decided to up-cycle one of my sons lego containers, into a dog treat holder.

This was super easy to whip up and I think the outcome is pretty darn cute, don't you!?

 

I colored my pups using my Spectrum Noirs

Dachshund: TN3,TN5,N6,DR4,DR7,GB4

Bulldog: BG1-BG5, IB3,IB2,GB4

 

Another great thing about this project is, I was able to use all scrap pieces of paper.

 

 

Just think of all the adorable scenes you can create with just these two items, the possibilities are endless!
