Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This weeks challenge theme is, clouds. My son who's in Kindergarten got invited to his 1st every Birthday Party. It's for a little girl in his class whom will be turning six. I decided to use this theme and make her a cute little Birthday card to go with her gifts. 

I mean what girl wouldn't like a card filled with clouds and a unicorn holding a balloon.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' March Release Bloghop

Woohoo!!! It's finally here!!!
The March Release is NOW available!!
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!...

ALL of the SIX new clear stamp sets that we've been sharing all week are now up in the krafty shop and we're celebrating with a Krafty HOP!

So grab a nice hot beverage, sit back and relax while you hop around and enjoy all the amazing creations from the
Krafty Design Team and Guests!!

Before we recap on this months new stamp sets, I have one more creation to share with you all.

I created this adorable little scene using the new, Darling Dragons & Forest Background Stamp Sets.

In order to merge these two images, I stamped my dragon onto some white cardstock using my Misti Stamping tool. I then stamped him a second time onto some masking paper. I fussy cut out the dragon on masking paper and layered on top of my image on cardstock. I then positioned my Forest Background where I wanted it and using the same Misti, stamped that too.

You never would know that these two stamps sets are separate using this technique.

I colored my entire image using Copic Markers.

I added some glossy accents to my pond to make it glisten.

Finished card off by using some fun pattern paper to mimic the scene and added some backers twine and enamel dots.

I made one of these last week feature some different images and this is the 2nd one in a little series I'm doing that will complete a set of 3. Once I get the third one done, I will connect them all using some burlap ribbon and they will be hung on wall.

I colored all this months release images when my Dad was in Hospital for Quadruple Heart Bypass, so I unfortunately forgot to keep track of colors used like I normally do, I was stress relief coloring.

The Greeting Farm- Farm Fresh Challenge- Mixed Media

Today starts a new Farm Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm! Our Farm Fresh Challenges start on the first of every month and run for an entire month to give you more time to enter. I'm not gonna lie this challenge scared the crap out of me, I've never done mixed media before. This actually turned out to be a really fun challenge and made me think outside my comfort zone.
Here is what I ended up creating...Please be gentle on me...
