FCCB DT Post: Challenge #161- Oh Baby

Hello all my bloggy friends. I hope every one's Monday gets off to a great start!? It's my group's turn to post over at FCCB. This weeks challenge is to create a project for a new baby. Since cards are what I enjoy doing that's what I went with.

I used my Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge on this card for my mat. My sweet little baby came from a Peachy Keen Stamp set called "Hey Baby", I colored her in using my Spectrum Noirs and paper pieced her outfit and headband. I added some little pearls to her outfit and also to her ears for earrings. My sentiment came from a My Pink Stamper baby set. I finished it up by adding some ribbon and some prima roses. I also used some of my favorite twine by Timeless Twine in Bubble Gum Pink. I hope you will all be able to find time to join in on this weeks challenge!! PPPR DT Post: Life is Good

Happy Wednesday everyone, I have the day off today so I plan on getting some crafting done, if my little peanut allows it. This will be 1 of 2 post for me today, I will be back at 8:00am CST for my second post. I just love how this one turned out!!  

 

Here is the card I made .....

for my card I used the "Happy Rainbow" cutting file.

I decided not to cut the faces, because I knew I wanted to use a Peachy Keen Face, from the April SOMK. This card was definitely a little time consuming, I individually glued all the sequences down using glossy accents. I added some diamond dust stickles to my clouds, just look at them sparkle! I randomly added some rhinestones, embossed the background and added some Cherry Red, Timeless Twine to finish it up!! I Hope you all like it? Make sure to stop by later to see my other creation.

FCCB DT Post- Challenge#159: Mother's Day

Good morning, Monday is upon us again and that means it's my week to make a project for Fantabulous Cricut. This weeks challenge is, Mother's Day! Here is the card that I created.

Okay, you may be looking at this and wondering how this is related to Mother's Day besides the sentiment. It just so happens that my mother is a collector of chickens and rosters, so I figured I would make her a country themed card. I used the Country Life  & Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridges.

Timeless Twine: Mothers Day Challenge

 

I am so pumped that we are having a challenge over at Timeless Twine. Since we are in the wonderful month of May, this months challenge will be, Mother's Day. The challenge will run from May 4-31st, all you have to do is head on over to the Timeless Twine blog to link up your entry. You can link any project as long as it follows the theme and it has to be a new creation. Of course it wouldn't be a challenge without a prize. Peachy Keen Challenge 13-17 :: Sketch Challenge

Hello my sweet crafty friends!! It's Wednesday, and once again I am pushing it close to get my card entered into the challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps. So I am going to keep it short and sweet and show you my card.

 

I tried to keep as close to the sketch as possible. I used my PKS February SOMK 2013 to stamp my sweet little images and sentiment. I colored the background and images using my Spectrum Noirs.
I added some Graphite Gray, Timeless Twine, around the scalloped circle and added a little bow with a button. Other things I used are Glossy accents, star dust stickles, cuttlebug embossing folder & blue rhinestones. I hope you all like my card and thanks for stopping by and taking a peak at it!!
