PPPR: "Back to School" Bloghop

Happy Saturday everyone, hope you are all having a good day! It's time for another fabulous bloghop and challenge over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. If you came here from Barb's  blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit Lisa's blog. This bloghop is all about "Back to School" and of course it wouldn't be a PPPR bloghop without using some PPPR files. Here is my Back to School inspired project....
Isn't my glue bottle just adorable!? I used the Primary Supplies Cutting File, to first print then cut my glue bottle I just got rid of the school glue part so I could use a Peachy Keen face instead. I then proceeded to print and cut one bottle as one layer, I then un-grouped and re-cut one so I could get all the different layers to give it some dimension. I also used some Pumpkin Orange, Timeless Twine, to spell out the word learn and made it coming out of the tip of my glue bottle.
Primary Supplies Cutting Files

Of course a hop can never be complete without a prize! For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog and leave a comment on each blog.  For extra chances, you can also "LIKE" Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons on Facebook and/or sign up for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Newsletter.
A random winner will be chosen for the prize on Tuesday, August 27. Only US or Canadian mailing addresses, please. So do you want to know what you could win!!??

These are such fabulous Prizes!! Lisa is such an awesome prize picker :)

I am super excited because it's time for another fun challenge over at  The Paper Nest Dolls Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge is all about shapes, this week we would like for you to make a shape card, however we ask that you don't use a square/rectangle, circle. For some inspiration I will share with you the card that I made for this challenge.
See it is possible to create without using the basic shapes. My sweet little image is titled "Girl Talk" she is available in the store over at The Paper Nest. com. My card base is from the Silhouette store, I just did a search for shape cards and this one came up as one of the options.
Other items used:
Papers: American Crafts, 5th & Frolic
Queen & Co. : green & pink peals & clear bling
Brad: Crate Paper
Prima: Grey Rose
Spectrum Noirs
Timeless Twine: Bubble Gum Pink
My Pink Stamper: Sentiment
White clay resin rose, I made.

Of course Christine always provides an AMAZING prize pack that will be giving to one lucky winner chosen by random, who shares their creation with us.

Cookout Cutting FilesLayered Labels 2 Cutting Files

I took two of the same Labels I wanted to use and welded them together to create my base of my card.
I used the print and cut feature on my silhouette to add the sentiment to the top layer, I then added some glimmer mist and faux stitching to give it more detail. Other items used on my card are Key Lime Sorbet twine by Timeless Twine and green sequences from my stash.
Do you all like it!? Is it bad I can already here my husbands sigh when he reads the sentiment lol, I couldn't help myself I am such a goober!! I want to thank you all for stopping by and taking a peak at my project, have a great day all my crafty friends!!

Peachy Keen Challenge 13-32 :: Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday to all my crafty bloggy friends out there! I feel like it's been forever since I joined in on a challenge over at Peachy Keen. Hopefully this will be the first of many cards to end the somewhat dry spell for challenges. This weeks challenge is a sketch, here is the sketch we got our inspiration from.

Here is my card

For my card I used the PKSC-18 June 2013 and the SVG files that go along with them. I decided I wanted to use up some scraps of paper I had so I cut all the shapes of my images out first then stamped them. I used my white gel pen to color in their eyes and used my Spectrum Noirs on parts of all of my sea creatures. I added some stickles (Yellow, Tropical Tangerine) to the fins of my fish and I added some glossy accents to the little tentacle suckers on my octopus.
Other items used
Sentiment from Scrappy Mom Stamps (Beach Bums)
Ric-Rac ribbon from stash
Sequences from stash
Papers are from Misc. Scraps from: American Crafts & Crate Paper
I hope you all enjoy my card and I want to thank you all for stopping by. Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see my DT project for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons!!
Hugs

Make a Wish: TT DT Day

Hello Everyone, it's my day to post over at the Timeless Twine Blog, yippee. I have a birthday card to share with you today, that I made for my momma for her birthday tomorrow. I used two of the yummy new twines, from the new Sorbet Collection on my card, KeyLime Sorbet and Razzleberry Sorbet.

This card was all made using the print and cut feature on my silhouette, I am loving this feature so much. All my elements came from the digital kit by AC called Emma's Shoppe. I added some doodling to the yellow doily, glitter to the horses mane, glossy accents to gumball machine and misc. rhinestone throughout the card. I made a sweet little tassel with the new Razzleberry twine and just sporadically laid out the Key lime & stuck down with glossy accent.

If you are interested in this yummy new twine it is available in the store just click HERE.
