SugarPea Designs- You're so Sweet

Happy Thursday my Crafty Friends!! It's time to share another SugarPea Design project with you all... I have been slightly obsessing over this month's new release products and decided to create a card showcasing a couple of them.
I took inspiration from my 1st Pineapple card that I shared last week. I wanted to focus on the black and white color scheme with an added pop of color. I had some extra watercolor cardstock leftover from my previous card, and thought it would be perfect for a shaker card.
Here is what I came up with...

Pattern Papers: Project Life- Becky Higgins- Confetti Edition
Zig Watercolor Markers
Misc. Glitter, Sequins & Micro Beads- American Crafts, Martha Stewart, Recollections

These products are all available for purchase now and can be found over in the SugarPea Designs Shop. There is more amazing inspiration over at the SugarPea Design Blog, from two of the other SPD designers. Also be sure to go back to the beginning of the week to see even more goodness.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

SugarPea Designs: Sweet 2 Repeat Bloghop

Hello, Crafty Friends! It’s time again for our monthly, Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop! Now that so many of you have our Fall Product Release in your hot little hands, our Pod Squad of designers have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possibilities featuring all of the newest and hottest products from SugarPea Designs!

I used my Zig Clean Color Brush to create my ombre watercolor background, then added some water droplets and white dots using my Unibal pen.
I colored in my little volcano using the same markers and added some Wink of Stella(clear) to make the lava sparkle. I also used some misc. rhinestones to make it look like the volcano was shooting out little fire balls. I thought the sentiment from the Pizza My Heart stamp set was just perfect for this image!

SugarPea Designs -World CardMaking Day Sale-A-Bration

Happy Saturday and Happy World Cardmaking Day!!

We are having a weekend long SALE-A-BRATION over at the SugarPea Design Blog in honor of World Card Making Day and are offering 20% off with coupon code: WORLD15.

Of course I had to make a card using some SPD goodies.
I created this card using Prehistoric Pals & my Zig Clean Color brush markers. This is my first time using these markers and I just LOVE them. Thanks to all my SPD design team sisters for being enablers, I just had to have them. I applied marker dry and then sprayed with water and let colors blend.
I used my heat tool to dry. I then applied some water droplets and let sit for about 30sec and blotted up using a paper towel.

Of course this wouldn't be a proper celebration without a prize, join us for WCMD by making ANY themed card you'd like and link it up on the SPD blog for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate.
Our winner will be announced October 6th.
