PPPR Design Team Day: Happy Fall

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's time for another fun design team project for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons using some fun PPPR files. I decided to make a fall card to share with you all. Here in Minnesota our fall is quickly turning into winter :( I've lived in this state my entire life you think by now I would be use to winter, but year after year, I dread it even more! I LOVE this state more than anything just not it's winters. So, I figured it would live out my fall through this card.
Files Used:
Pumpkin Patch Cutting Files & Make a Wish Cutting File
Make a Wish Cutting FilesPumpkin Patch Cutting Files

I did print and cut for all of my card but still cut in layers because I love dimension. I stamped my pumpkins faces using my October Peachy Keen SOMK, the sentiment also came from this set. For my sweet little girl I just took off the hat and cut off the cake and tucked her behind the pumpkins to make it look like she was popping out. I added some ribbon and a button from my stash and some yummy Halloween Twist, Timeless Twine. Of course no card is ever complete with some sparkle, I used some Firefly Stickles around the leaves of my pumpkins.
I hope you all enjoy my fall card and I hope everyone gets to enjoy some fall weather yet! Please feel free and send some of that warmer weather my way :)
Have a fantastic day!!

My Craft Spot Guest Designer

Hello everyone,I am beyond excited to be guesting today over at My Craft Spot, I have been a long time follower of Kimberly and her blog, she is so talented. Kimberly gave me the choice of picking out either a stamp set or metal dies to use on my projects. I decided to go with Tiny Tags 3, I already owned the Tiny Tags Dies to go along with this set. You will all have a chance to win a My Craft Spot stamp set of your choice, just leave me a comment here on my blog, telling me what your favorite My Craft Spot stamp set is. I have made two projects today to share with you, here they are.
Details for this Project:
My card base measure at 5.5x4.25. I cut this sweet little "Candy Corn Guy" out by Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons using my Silhouette Cameo. Once I had all my layers cut and pieced together, I took out my Zig glue pen and covered my yellow and white layers and added some glitter. The yellow glitter is "Lemon" by American Crafts and the White glitter is by Stampendous. All my pattern papers are from the 6x6 Halloween stack by American Crafts. Other items include:
Lemonade Yellow Twine by Timeless Twine
Flower embellishment by Recollections
White glitter clothespin by Gartner Studios
Orange Sequences from Joanns
The Crinkle ribbon I hand dyed using my Dried Marigold, Time Holtz Distress Ink.
Of Course my Sweet little tag was made using Tiny Tags 3 Stamp set and Tiny Tag Metal Dies

Using the same stamp and die set here is my second project.

For this project I decided to make a matching card and candy bar wrapper. Once again my card base is the same as the first and measures 5.5x4.25. My adorable little witches and best witches Sentiment comes from the Best Wishes cut set from Lettering Delights. I sized my witched to 3.5 inches and used the print and cut feature of my silhouette to cut them out. I used Sentiment Spots 1 by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to cut around my sentiment.
Other items used on card:
Star Paper: Halloween by American Crafts
Blue Polka dot paper: Jillibean Soup: Apple Cheddar Soup 6x6 paper pad
Solid Papers: DCWV
Cat, spider, frog in jar stickers by EK Success
Black button from stash
Key Lime Sorbet Twine by Timeless Twine

My Candy bar wrapper is also from Lettering Delights called Best Witches Candy Wrapper. All I did was print in out and followed the the directions to cut around crop marks and score where it told me to score, using my Martha Stewart score board. I then just wrapped some more Key Lime Sorbet, Timeless twine around it and added my cute little tag with one of the stamps from Tiny Tags 3. Can you see what it says, "Keep Calm & Eat Chocolate".!? I hope you all enjoyed my creations, make sure you head on over to the My Craft Spot store and take a peek at all the awesome goodies. While you are there remember to look at the stamps and then leave me a comment here, telling me which one is your favorite, I will choose a winner by random a week from today. Good Luck everyone and Happy Crafting!
