Today's card will be the one he will be getting when that day comes around <3
File Used:

Cookout Cutting Files
I kept it kinda simple and with files because I knew I wanted to use a bunch of different patterns and layers.
My stamps came from three different Peachy Keen Stamp Sets:
PK-116 We Go Together
PKSC-25 January 2014
PK-1320 In the Garden Face Assortment
All my papers came from my scrap bin once again, gotta love it!

YNS: Fun Friday

Hello and TGIF everyone!! It's the end of the week and we are FINALLY starting to get some decent weather today. I wish everyday could like the little scene on the card I am about to share with you all.
This warm, sunshiney little image is titled, "Gardening Fun". My hubby planted our veggies on Mothers Day but we are supposed to get frost tonight, so I sure none of them will actually germinate. I guess that's one of the downsides of living in MN is you never know when we will get spring.
For my card, I used my trusty Spectrum Noirs. I was going to share colors with you all but obviously I got side tracked and didn't write everything down.
I used the May YNS Sketch to create the layout of my card.

Of course there is still plenty of time to link up to our monthly challenge using either the provided sketch or inspiration photo. For all the details please head on over to the YNS Challenge blog to check it out!!
Thank you all for stopping by an have a great weekend.

Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon ~ Girly Blog Hop!

Hello and Happy Saturday my sweet crafty friends! If you came here from Shannon's blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit Lisa's blog.

Today's bloghop is all about girls, of course it wouldn't be a proper bloghop if are projects didn't feature fabulous files from the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons store. I used a couple different files for today's creation.
Files Used:
Honey Bees Cutting FilesHoneycomb Shapes Cutting Files
Sentiment Spots 3 Cutting FilesOld Chap Cutting Files
All my papers used on today's project were pieces from my scrap bin :) I am motivated to get that stash a little smaller. I cut my Honeycomb pieces out twice, once using the yellow paper and second using a cream patterned paper. I like the look of leaving a couple pieces in, I feel it gives more dimension that way. My face is from the PKSC-26 February 2014 stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps.
I made up the sentiment and then used the print and cut feature in my Silhouette.

PPPR Design Team Day: Dapper Fathers Day

Hello everyone! It's design team day for me over on the PPPR blog :D
I was in the process of making another birthday card for today's post, but I didn't want to share three in a row. I know it's kind of early to think about Fathers Day when we haven't even celebrated mothers day yet. Today I will be sharing a Fathers day card with you all. I am trying to get a head start for all things happening in June because I will be out of state for 2 weeks and unable to craft :'(
It's a work trip so I will be pretty busy the entire time I am gone. I may sneak some markers and stamps along with me though :D This will be the first time away from my son which I am very heartbroken by, he is almost three and the only amount of time I have been away from his was one night, so I will need to keep my mind busy or I will be an absolute mess.
I get worked up even talking about it, so how about I just share my card.
Files Used:
Forest Critters Cutting FilesOld Chap Cutting Files

Isn't he such a dapper looking little fox!? I love the way you can mix and match all the different elements from the " Old Chap" cutting files set! This is a definite must have file, I have another project coming up on Saturday using this set as well.
Lisa's files are so great for mixing and matching, you can just let your creativity fly when working with them.
I hope you all enjoyed my card, have a happy Sunday and I will see you all again soon!
