Timeless Twine DT Day: Thankful For You!

Hello everyone, happy Monday! It's time for another FUN design team day over at the Timeless Twine Blog. Today, I will be sharing a spring card with you all, what is spring you ask, I honestly couldn't tell you. We are still stuck in winter here in "MinneSNOWta" aka Minnesota. Some people refer to our state as the snow capital of the world and right now, I agree with them!! I needed something to cheer me up and since this months theme is Spring over at the Timeless Twine blog, I got in full spirit!!
Aww, doesn't this just scream, shove it snow!!!
I used, once again my all time favorite twine, this truly is my go to twine <3 <3
I crocheted a very simple little flower, I will share pattern in case anyone wants to give it a go, I used a size US F5 hook. You can use any size, just keep in mind the bigger the hook the bigger the flower.

 Crochet Pattern used below:
Firstly: chain 4 and join to form a ring, find the central hole to work out of or the first round
Round 1: Ch 2, work 9 Double Crochet stitches into the ring, join with a Slip Stitch in 2nd chain of initial chain 2
Round 2:  You will work out of the stitches for this round.
*chain 2, then work 1 Double Crochet, 1 Half Double Crochet into first stitch.
Slip Stitch into next stitch.*
You will REPEAT round 2, four more times ending in a Slip Stitch. Fasten off.

My stamped image is by Sugar Pea Designs and it's called " Love you Bunches", I colored using my Spectrum Noirs.
Papers: Lets Polka, Lawn Fawn & Beautiful Life, Echo Park both from 6x6 paper pads, Solid Paper: DCWV
Before I send you on your way, I want to make sure you are all aware of the" Oh Snap" release!!
Head on over at like the Event Page on Facebook, so you wont miss a thing! All projects will be showcased here on Tuesday, April 1 at 9:00am in EDT!!

Scrappy Moms Stamps: Guest Designer: 4th project

Hello everyone TGIF, this is my second post for the day to see my creation for YNS click HERE. I am here to share another project as this months guest designer for Scrappy Moms Stamps!
I created a fun school themed card, for the favorite teacher in your life, here is what I created....
I used the New Scrappy Mom's stamp set titled, Terrific Teachers.
I thought that this sentiment went perfect with a the digital stamp called, "Library Mae" by Some Odd Girl. I colored her up using my Spectrum Noirs. I stamped my sentiment on vellum and then layered it over my patter paper, to give it a softer look. My papers all came from a 6x6 paper pad (except base) by Carta Bella, called Alphabet Junction. I left the card pretty clean and simple, which is unusual for me, but I wanted the sentiment and digi to be the main focus, so I just did a bunch of layers.
Hope you all enjoy :)
Have a great day and I will see you all tomorrow!!

YNS: Fun Friday: The sun will come out tomorrow

Hello Everyone, TGIF! I cannot believe we have already reached the end of March, bring it on, I am ready for some warm weather. I am here to share a spring/summer card with you all today using the adorable digi stamp from the Your Next Stamp store called, "Floating down the river".
I decided to do an image search on google to find different breeds of cats and that's where I came up with the color scheme for this adorable little kitty. I colored my digi in using my Spectrum Noirs. My cloud pattern paper is from a digital paper pack by Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons called, Spring Fling Pattern pack. I added some pretty crinkle ribbon by 3 Girl Jam and finished it up by adding a button with some Graphite Grey, Timeless Twine.

Other Materials:
Sentiment: SP & Company
Sun Charm
Fiskars Boarder Punch

I based my card off of this months provided sketch....
I rotated the sketch so I could have my image be bigger and take up more of the card.
You still have time to join in on this months challenge, we would love to see what you create, PS: you don't have to use YNS products, of course if you have them use them :D
To find out all the challenge details head on over to the challenge blog, there you will see all the rules and also both, this months provided sketch and inspiration photo.
Thank you all for stopping by, I will be back tomorrow with another blogpost/bloghop, see you all then!

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone! I kinda have a double whammy post today, I am sure you are wandering what in the heck I mean by this.Well, Its design team day for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon and I am also guesting this month for Scrappy Mom Stamps, so I decided to combined both companies on today's card. I have been whipping up some Easter cards, since the holiday is quickly approaching.
PPPR files used:
My Peeps Cutting Files

Scrappy Moms Stamp Set:

I decided to turn my little bunny peep into a shaker, all I did to do this was trace a circle over it's belly in Silhouette Studio. I covered my bunny using my zig glue pen and sprinkled it with pink glitter to try and make it look like it has sugar on it, like the real ones. All my papers except the base and multi color polka dot paper, came from my scrap bin.  I wanted to go with a very fun, bright and happy card :) I have a couple people in mind that I want to give this card to. I hope you all like my card "For Peeps Sake"! I will see you back here on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and possibly even Sunday, I have been very busy :)
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!
