Happy Friday everyone! I up over at The Greeting Farm blog today sharing a card using the, "Our Song" stamp set that was released earlier this month. Here is my card...
I colored my image using Copic Markers after cutting out using the, "Our Song" coordinating Dies. I created the ombre background using three different Tim Holtz Distress inks, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, Spun Sugar. I popped my image up using some 3D foam tape after randomly stamping some of the music notes from the same set. You can find this set along with all the others that were released this month over in the TGF shop.

Hello everyone, Happy Hump Day! It's a bittersweet day as my time is up over at the MFT Card challenge blog as guest designer. I have one last creation to share with you all for the new MFT Sketch #343 before I say farewell.
Isn't this just the sweetest little kitty cat!? This card will be for my little Boy who will soon be turning TWO! Anyone who knows me, knows my obsession with shaker cards, I just cant get enough of them.
I colored this sweet little boy kitty using my Copic Markers.
Thank you again MFT for having my as this months Guest Designer... As always I've had an absolute blast and wish we could rewind the month and do it all over!
Hello, happy Tuesday eveyone. I'm up over at the SugarPea Design Blog .
Today, I want to share a card with you all using one of my favorite techniques. I love incorporating the use of dies on my stamped images to create a 3D raised effect.
The 2nd image shown above, shows the 3D raised effect the best. To create this effect I start out by coloring my image, which from the RV There Yet? stamp set. I then took the, Home Sweet Home Sugarcut die and placed it directly onto image and cut out. In order to get the raised effect, I cut out an additional 5 more pieces in order to achieve my layering. Usually I would use the SugarPuff from the SPD store but I'm currently out, so this was a good alternative, it just took a lot more work and time.
To finish off this technique, I added a layer of glossy accents on top of diecut.
I did a little ink blending on the background and finished card off by stamping my sentiment and adding some clear sequins.

I Think it's so much fun to incorporate stamps into your planner because it can really just make a page pop and stand out. I don't get to do it to often.. I keep this planner on my craft desk at all times to keep track of all my DT requirements. My personal planner is also very neglected...I am going to make a promise to myself, right here right now to start incorporating my stamps more into my planners.
These adorable critters and accessories are so much fun to colour and play with! Think of all the quick and simple cards and tags you could design OR all the fabulous scenes with lots of little animals! It's totally up to YOU what you create!!

My card is featuring the, Let's Flamingle Stamp set. I kept a clean and simple design for my card so my flamingo could be front and center. I stamped flamingo first because I knew I wanted to make it look like it was standing on the sentiment.
