Day 2- Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps- October Krafty Peeks

Hello and welcome back to Day TWO of our

October Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Did you LOVE yesterday's nativity set called Christmas Blessings? Well today we are back with a coordinating set called

CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS SENTIMENTS!

To create today's card, I used a die by Die'sire from Crafters Companion to create my three wise men scene. I placed the die on white paper and ran through my eBosser. I created the watercolor background using Spectrum Aquas in the colors, Marine,Navy,Orchid,Red Violet.

My sentiment was stamped and then heat embossed using silver embossing powder. To finish it off, I added some white stars using my Uin-ball White Gel Pen. 

This gorgeous set is filled with spiritual sentiments in gorgeous fonts and can be used on their own as the focal point of your creations or in combination with any image! The set contains EIGHT stunning sentiments!

My Favorite Things- 2016 Card Design SuperStar Contest

Hello, happy Monday everybody. I decided to create a card to enter into the My Favorite Things, card designs superstar contest. I just adore their stamps and products so what better way to showcase that than by making a card and entering it. Kraftin Kimmie Stamps- August Release Bloghop

It's finally here!!! 

The RELEASE of our AUGUST 2016 clear stamp sets!!!

We've released ALL SIX of the EEK-TASTIC new clear stamp sets that we've been previewing all week and we're celebrating with a super fun krafty HOP! So grab a nice hot beverage and put your feet up because you will need a few relaxing minutes to enjoy all the magical fun by our design team and guest!!

Before I share all the sets with you, I'm going to share the card I made for today's Bloghop. I used the AWESOME, Totally Witchin' Set. 

Witch was colored using Copic Markers

 I created the Galaxy background by using my Spectrum Aquas...

I also added some Spectrum Sparkle pen (clear) to the background to give it a little extra sparkle.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps- Day 4 August Sneak Peeks + Anything Goes Challenge

Welcome back to our FOURTH and final day of August Krafty Peeks! It's almost time to release ALL the new SPOOK-tacular stamp sets that you've been seeing all week!

We have TWO adorable new sets to share with you today from artist, Becky Pearce! These sets can be used on their own or in combination with each other or even other Halloweenie type sets!!

First is this sweet set of feathered friends called

SugarPea Designs- Product Release Day!!

WELCOME TO DAY 5 OF OUR JUNE PRODUCT RELEASE!

Hello Everyone.... Welcome to day 5, product Release day, woot woot!! Hope you have all enjoyed this release as much as we have. We have a couple more products to share with you today and then you will all just have to hang tight until tonight, to get your shop on. 

Our entire June Product Release will be available for purchase starting today, this Friday, June 24th at 6PM EST in the SPD Store. 

Today we are showcasing Gift Greetings and the brand new Gift Card Holder die cut! Now you will be able to make some cute Gift Card holders! 

Here's my creation.....

I cut out my gift card holder with some watercolor cardstock. I heat embossed the outside and inside using different stamps from the HBTU stamp set that we showcased yesterday and stamps from the Celebrate All The Things set that we showcased Monday. I used Ranger white embossing powder, let cool. I then colored entire holder using my Spectrum Aqua WaterColor markers. Once colors were laid down, I sprayed with a little spray bottle to get colors to blend, then hit with heat gun to dry, 

I love how bright and vibrant it turned out <3 To finish up just add your desired giftcard.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps- Day 3- May Release Previews

Welcome Krafty Friends to Day THREE of our MAY Krafty Previews!!! Are you ready for another amazing day of May krafty peeks! Have you been enjoying all the underwater creations so far?

Did you think we were done with the MERMAIDS??? Nope!! Today we are sharing previews featuring a set that I KNOW will make a splash! We're so excited to share the new set of fin-tastic images by artist Emilie Goulet called ... MERMAID FRIENDS!!

The 4x4 clear stamp set features two beautiful mermaids with their water-ful friends PLUS five awesome sentiments!!! They're such fun!

Here is my card....

I went a little rainbow crazy on my mermaids tail and then had to top it off with some pretty iridescent glitter! Did my watercolor background using 3 different colors of Spectrum Aquas.. Aqumarine, Kingfisher & PeacockBlue. I added some misc. sequins for a little bit more sparkle.

I just love mermaids and what's even cuter than a mermaid and a dolphin!?

SugarPea Designs ~ Sweet 2 Repeat Bloghop

Hi Crafty Friends!

It’s time again for our Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop !  Now that so many of you have our April Product Release in your hands, our Pod Squad of designers have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possibilities featuring our newest and hottest products!

I am loving all of the new dies that were in April's Release, they make putting cards together so quick and easy. 

I used a couple different SPD products(new & old) on today's creation.

I created my watercolor Scattered Star Background, by using my Spectrum Aquas and then adding blue glitter paper behind. I stamped my sentiment on my flag from the, Stitched Flags die set. The rainbow got a really heaving coating of some clear Spectrum Sparkle, it's hard to see in the picture but it's super sparkly.

Hello and Happy Thursday my friends! Hope you all have been having a great week. I can't believe that May is only a week away. That means you only have to wait one more month until the next SugarPea Design Release ;) Let's focus on today though. I have a fun interactive card to share with you all using the newly release Quakers set.

Misc: Whatever The Weather Pattern Paper Collection

This card was made using the Lori Whitlock Waterfall design from the, online Silhouette Store. Once all my piece were cut I assembled card using some atg adhesive and colorful brads. My Duckies were colored using my Spectrum Aqua watercolor Markers/pens. 

Colors Used:

Yellow, Lime, Orange, Amber, Teal, Aquamarine, Kingfisher & Blossom

Water Color Paper: Spectrum Aqua Watercolour Cardstock.

Don't they just look so adorable with the new, Whatever The Weather Pattern Paper and what about that sentiment!? I am just going Quackers over this stamp set, it has to be one of the cutest sets of all time!

Good Luck Anya- The Greeting Farm- Guest Designer

Hello, Happy Tuesday! I have been having such a blast, Guest Designing for The Greeting Farm stamp co. this month. I have my second project to share with you all today.

I used digital stamp, Good Luck Anya, as the focal point for today's creation. 

Just because St. Patrick's day is over doesn't mean that this image can't be used. Everyone knows that St. Patrick's day is full of green and rainbows so I decided to still use that as the theme of my card, but switch it up when it came time to stamp the sentiment. 

My image was colored using Spectrum Noir & Copic Markers and the Background was created using Spectrum Aquas. I used the smooshing method to blend all my background colors together. 

I finished off by framing Anya with some silver glitter tape and adding some silver star sequins. 

I hope you have all enjoyed my second project... I can't believe I only have one more project to go and my month will be up :( 

I will be back on the 29th for my third and final creation as guest designer.

Spectrum Noir- March Challenge ~ Show us your sparkle

Hello, hope you are all having a good evening!? A new month has just started and that means time for a new challenge over at Spectrum Noir. 

This month is all about, showing us your sparkle... you can interpret that in many different ways. 

For my project I will be showcasing my sparkle in two different ways, using sequins & Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

Stamp Set- Some Odd Girl- Mr. Octopus

I stamped my images and sentiment directly onto some Spectrum Aqua Watercolour Cardstock. 

I water colored using my Spectrum Aquas, colors used included...

Teal, Aquamarine, Magenta, Yellow, Red Violet & Charcoal

I colored my Aquas onto an acrylic block and then picked up the colors using a water brush. 

I am impatient so I used my heat gun to dry the image. I  like using this method because I can manipulate the way the colors will dry. I then sprinkled some droplet of water randomly to image and blotted with a paper towel. 

Now that everything was dry, I went back in to use my Spectrum Sparkle Pens, colors used, include...

Cosmos, Violet & Clear. 

It's hard to see all the sparkle but trust me it's there. The ocean background was completely covered using the clear sparkle pen. Mr. octopus is very sparkle too!

Now all that was left was to add my sequins and specks of glitter.

Hello everyone.... It's been a couple days since my last post. I have been very busy behind the scenes getting crafting for some fun stuff coming up in November. I have really been on a water coloring kick lately, it's seems its all the trend these days. SugarPea Designs SPDSS30

Hello and Happy Monday! Hope you all had an amazing weekend :) I hope this week goes by really slow, as it's my last week of maternity leave. These last 5 weeks have gone by way to fast and I am not ready to go back to work. It's been so nice being able to be home with my two boys, but duty calls as do the bills. It's been nice being able to craft, whenever I want, well whenever the baby sleeps and I find time. I was able to find a little bit of time this weekend to get a couple cards done. Today, I am going to share a card with you all that I made for the new sugar sketch challenge over at the SugarPea Design blog.

I used the new, Eek-A-Boo stamp set and put my sweet little ghost on an action wobble.

I colored using my Spectrum Aquas and then fussy cut him out.

Colors used: Slate, Charcoal, Gold, Orange & Peach

SugarPea Designs ~ July Sweet Peeks Day 3

Can you believe we are already half way through with Peeks for the new release!? How are you all loving the new stamp sets and dies so far? Would you believe me if I told you they're only gonna get better!?

Today, we will be sharing the new, Anchored stamp set with you all. There are a lot of cutesy  mermaids out there but we thought it would be time to turn the sexy up :)

 

I wasn't lying when I said sexy.... she even looks amazing in watercolors.

I used my Spectrum Aquas, some white embossing powder and did the "smooshing" technique, to get this look.
