Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps- Day 2 Krafty Peeks

Welcome Krafty Friends to Day TWO of our May Krafty Previews!!!

We've got lots more fabulous previews for you today!!

Today we are sharing another adorable underwater set,
this one by artist, Cheryl Grant! I think you'll WHALE-Y love it!! 

The set is called KEEP SWIMMING!! It features our cute kids Lucas and Lulu having some splish splashy fun with some underwater friends! There are FOUR main images PLUS FIVE fabby sentiments for a total of NINE awesome stamps in the set!

This set is just to cute for words, had such a blast making this one...

I took inspiration for the background for this card from my sweet crafty friend Dana Joy, from GotJoyCreations.

I used a mixture of Spectrum Noir Refill inks and some high gloss cardstock. I just dropped the ink directly onto paper and then sprayed it with rubbing alcohol, to get it to move around and get the desire effect I wanted.

I added some white glittered enamel dots from Doodlebug Design for the look of bubbles.

Hello and Happy Thursday! It's that time again, for me to share another SugarPea Design creation with you all. I had so much fun doing the no line coloring technique on this card. I just adore this little image from the, "Gnome sweet Gnome" stamp set, what about you!?

I stamped image using, Desert Sand Memento ink. I then colored it using a mixture of both Spectrum Noirs and Copic markers.

Hello Everyone... TGIF! Just popping in to share a fun little card with you all the I created during my periscope. 

I created this card using the, "Cheeky Monkey" stamp set from My Favorite Things and my Spectrum Noirs. 

Markers:

Spectrum Noir- March Challenge ~ Show us your sparkle

Hello, hope you are all having a good evening!? A new month has just started and that means time for a new challenge over at Spectrum Noir. 

This month is all about, showing us your sparkle... you can interpret that in many different ways. 

For my project I will be showcasing my sparkle in two different ways, using sequins & Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

Stamp Set- Some Odd Girl- Mr. Octopus

I stamped my images and sentiment directly onto some Spectrum Aqua Watercolour Cardstock. 

I water colored using my Spectrum Aquas, colors used included...

Teal, Aquamarine, Magenta, Yellow, Red Violet & Charcoal

I colored my Aquas onto an acrylic block and then picked up the colors using a water brush. 

I am impatient so I used my heat gun to dry the image. I  like using this method because I can manipulate the way the colors will dry. I then sprinkled some droplet of water randomly to image and blotted with a paper towel. 

Now that everything was dry, I went back in to use my Spectrum Sparkle Pens, colors used, include...

Cosmos, Violet & Clear. 

It's hard to see all the sparkle but trust me it's there. The ocean background was completely covered using the clear sparkle pen. Mr. octopus is very sparkle too!

Now all that was left was to add my sequins and specks of glitter.

Happy Holidays- Coloring with Spectrum Noirs

Happy Monday... hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! It's been kind of quite on my blog the past week. Little man is starting to teeth I think and he has been pretty fussy lately, so I haven't had much craft time this past week or so. I was able to get down in the craft room for a little bit tonight to do some creating. I did a periscope tonight while coloring this image and have got it all completed and put on a card so I thought I would share.

A new month has started and that means it's time for yet another new monthly challenge over at Spectrum Noir.
