PPPR DT Day: Best Friends Hang Together

Happy Hump day everyone!! Today is a good day, I work and then tomorrow I am off and I can spend entire day with my peanut and fill my face with more fair food lol! Today is also a good day because it's design team day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I decided to make a friendship card for one of my besties :)
I used two different cutting files to make this sweet card: Mothers Day Cards & Halloween Critters.
Mother's Day Cards Cutting Files

Halloween Critters Cutting Files
I used the scalloped oval from the 1st card in the Mothers day set for the mat on my card. I used the print and cut feature on the inner oval so I could create my own sentiment. My sweet little spiders are both the girl spider, I just mirrored her. I decided not to cut their faces so I could use my Peachy Keen stamps. I cut the corner web and just trimmed it to fit my oval, I added some black stickles to give it a little bit of sparkle. My sweet little spiders are hanging from some yummy Watermelon Sorbet twine by Timeless Twine, along with the bow on the side of the card. I hope you all enjoyed my use of holiday files to make an everyday friendship card. Lisa's files are so versatile and can be used for many different occasions and event, I just love it !!
Hope you all have a great Wednesday and I will see you soon.

Peachy Keen Guest Designer: Last Day

Hello Everyone, hope you are all having a fantastic Tuesday! This is a sad, sad day for me, it's my last post as guest designer for Peachy Keen Stamps :( Just because it's my last day as GD that doesn't mean I will stop creating with Peachy Keen Stamps. I am apart of the SOMK(stamp of the month kit) and I am so giddy because its that time of the month where the Peachy Keen queen Kathy, will be releasing a new set very, very soon squeal!!! I have a couple projects to share with you today as my final farewell.
This sweet little frog is from the PK-207 Fishin' Frog. I colored him using my Spectrum Noirs and added some glossy accents to his eyes. I added some yummy new Key Lime twine by Timeless Twine, sorbet collection.
Isnt' he just a cutie patootie!? My second card I made, I used an older stamp set, mixed with a newer one. I think this one will be for my hubby, for his upcoming birthday. Here is my second card...
EEK, are these not the cutest little salt and pepper shakers you have ever seen!?
For this card I used two different stamp sets, I used PK-116 We Go Together & PKSC-18 June 2013, for the adorable faces. I think this has to be one of the cleanest cards I have made, EVER!! For my salt shaker I used white coarse glitter and for my pepper shaker I just used my Spectrum Noirs and colored a bunch of specks. I just love how this card turned out.
Here are the stamp sets I used for both cards.

I hope everyone has enjoyed my projects for the past month, I sure have enjoyed sharing them with you all!! I want to give a big shout out to everyone in the Peachy Family for having me and welcoming me as part of the team this past month!!!
Hugs and lots of luv.

Okay, I don't want to get a sad on everyone, on a happier note the card I will be sharing with you is very cheerful!

Image of Christmas Bakers Twine Large Party Pack by Timeless Twine
I used the middle one- Christmas Twist
Isn't this such a sweet card, I guess any card is sweet when combined with the cuteness of Peachy Keen Stamps. This little penguin is from the July SOMK 2013 along with the sentiment.
I just LOVE the Cherry/Olive Christmas Twist, the colors are just so rich and vibrant!! I think the twine goes perfectly when paired with my little joy button and gingham ribbon. I hope you all enjoy this sweet little Christmas card,  remember its never to early to get a head start working on them. Have a sweet day everyone!!

PPPR DT Day: Feel Better Soon

Good Morning Everyone, it's Wednesday and you all know what that means, It's DT day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I am going to share with you a get well card I made for my grandpa, who has not been doing so well. I used the Happy Pills cutting file to create this sweet shaker card.
Happy Pills Cutting Files
I cut the pill bottle twice in order to layer them to create my shaker card. On one of the bottles I didn't separate the middle section and told my silhouette to cut all layers so it would cut that middle portion out. I then used foams squares and clear acetate to hold all the pills in my bottle. I have been obsessed with sequences lately so I decided to add some of those in there to. My sweet little tag is cut using metal dies from My Craft spot and the sentiment is from the tiny tag collection also from My Craft Spot. I added some yummy Bubble Gum pink, Timeless twine and a handmade resin flower by yours truly. Here is the sweet man this card is going to!!
~LOVE YOU GRANDPA~

thank you all for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic day!!

Peachy Keen Guest Designer: Rock A Hula

Happy Tuesday everyone! I am here today to share with you my second project as guest designer for Peachy Keen Stamps. I love anything bright, fun and cheerful and I hope you will notice that in today's post. Here is the fun card I created!
I wasn't joking when I said bright. Can you believe that all of the images and the rock-a-hula sentiment came from only ONE stamp set!? The aloha stamp was a wooden on I had laying around in my stash. I just love the quantities and quality you get with Peachy Keen Stamps. The stamp set I used for this card is PK-1254 Rock a Hula.

All my papers except the solids came from a digital paper park called Aloha, by Designs by Dani. I added some yellow stickles to my hula girls accessories and my aloha sentiment. I finished it up by adding a couple pink pearls and gold sequences. I colored all of my images using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I hope all enjoyed my bright, fun and cheerful card!? Have a great day everyone!!

Happy Fourth: TT DT Day

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic a day. I want to apologize for not posting as much as I usually do. I am not going to go into full detail but my Grandpa's health is declining and he was put in hospice last week. I am trying to get to see him as much as possible, it's kind of tough because he is 3 hours away from me. Although I have not been posting everyday, I have been crafting like a mad women behind the scenes. Just a reminder, I will be the guest designer over at Peachy Keen Stamps for the entire month of July (first post will be on July 8th). I will also have six different projects between my other two design teams.
Okay, enough of all the sad stuff on with my cute 4th of July card. It's my turn to post over at the Timeless Twine Blog, can you believe it's the 4th of July tomorrow!?  I am going to show you are card featuring some scrumptious "Firecracker" twine.

My cute little girl is from the Fourth of July Kids Cutting File by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. She was holding a little pin wheel, but I decided to make some little pom-poms using the firecracker twine. All my pattern paper came from a digital kit called "All American Summer" by, design by Dani. I ran the card through my sewing machine to add some finishing touches. Before I say goodbye I want to tell everyone to have a fun and safe Holiday!!!

For my card, I used the Grand Old Flag cutting file set

Grand Old Flag Cutting Files
Lisa has come out with some Amazing 4th of July cutting files, be sure to head on over and check them out. No card is ever complete without adding some twine. I used some of my favorite twine by Timeless Twine of course, the twine I used is Firecracker. I made this card to send to my Brother and his wife and my two nieces down in Tampa.
