Little Red Wagon Blog Challenge #144 Girlfriends

Hello Card Lovers,

Ok, so I really love how this card turned out. I used my Cricut Imagine to print the paper along with the sentiment & image. The Challenge, was to make a card for one of your girlfriends. My group of friends and I have always had a sense of humor, so I think this card goes hand in hand with our friendship. Without further ado, here is what I came up with....

Materials Used
Best Friends Cricut Imagine Cartridge
Better Together Cricut Imagine Cartridge
Flower Shoppe Cricut Cartridge
Yellow Card-Stock
Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Shabby Shutters,Tumbled Glass)
CuttleBug Embossing Folder
Queen & Co. Rhinestone (Center of eyes on bread)
Stickles (Cotton Candy)
3D Foam Squares
ATG Adhesive

My card base is cut at 5x4.75 and then fold the top over to the left and score. My background shape that my bread and butter are on, the pink shape is cut at 3.5" and the blue layer is cut at 3.3". My bread and butter buddies are cut at 3.5 and the inside sentiment is cut at 2.7". My flowers were cut at 3". I inked around the inside solid blue rectangle inside my card with, Tim Holtz (tumbled Glass) distress ink.
I hope everyone enjoys my card and thanks for stopping by. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

Smore' Anyone Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

Hello Card Lovers,

I am back with another card, for the challenge going on over at Fantaboulous Cricut Blog. The theme for this challenge was to use anything camping inspired. I found the perfect cut on my "Enjoy the Seasons" imagine cartridge. I am kinda embarrassed to say this, but I have never been camping in my life. I tried to get as inspired as possible and I hope I did all you camping enthusiast proud. Here is what I came up with...
Materials Used
Enjoy The Seasons Imagine Cartridge
My Pink Stamper Stamps (More Punny-Licious)
Bakers Twine
Sizzik Embossing Folder
Barbara Trombley Art Glitter (Orange Crush)
Buttons From Stash
Echo Park Pattern Paper (Blue)
DCWV Solid Card Stock
3D Foam Squares
ATG Adhesive
Zig Glue Pen

My card base measures at 6x4 , the yellow background paper is also cut at 6x4. My Camping background is cut at 3.6", I cut this once as a single image, then cut it again so I could cut it with layers. I used zig glue pen on the flames of my fire so I could sprinkle with orange glitter.
I Hope you all enjoy my camping themed card, feel free to ask any further questions you may have.

Thanks & Happy Scrappin"

Cardz TV "School is Cool" Challenge

Hello Card Lovers,
Wow, how time flies I cannot even believe how long I have been out of school, well to me anyways. I only have one child right now and he is only 14 months, so I have awhile before the whole school thing starts, thank goodness. The card I made for this challenge, I used my new cartridge I just bought, Wrap it up, thank you mom for the birthday money. There was a really cute apple cut on this cartridge so I decided to go with that.

Materials Used
Wrap it up Cricut Cartridge
Flower Shoppe Cricut Cartridge
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
CuttleBug Emboss Folder
Fiskars Boarder Punch
Clear Dollar Stamps (Kids Encouragements)
Bo-Bunny Patterned Paper
DCWV Solid Cardstock
Queen & Co. White Pearls
Ribbon From Stash
White Paint Pen
3D Foam Squares
ATG Adhesive
My card base measures at 4.75x4.75, my apple is cut at 4". I went ahead and inked around the
apple and the leaf, with my Tim Holtz distress ink to give it a three dimensional look.
I was so excited to finally use this ribbon in my card, it has little apples all over it, I just love it and now I am not hoarding it anymore. I bought this in the dollar bin at target almost 3 years ago, now you can see why I was excited to use it. I loved it so much I knew I would have to wait to use it until I found the best project for it.
I am happy with my final result and think it turned out better then I expected. If anyone has further questions on any of the products I used or how I made the card, feel free to ask.

Thanks & Happy Scrappin"

Challenge Entry Time Once Again

Hello Card Lovers,
So I my recent post, I said that I was going to make more projects using my Cricut Imagine. I felt kinda bad because I have not used it that much and my husband keeps reminding me how much money I spent on it, so I want to prove to him that It was a must have and I do indeed use it.
This card totally reminds me of one of my favorite childhood movies, I was born in the late 80's, and I just love this movie to death. Can you guess what it is.... "The Brave Little Toaster". Some of you may know this movie, if you have not seen it, I suggest, you add it to your must see movie list.

Materials Used
Cricut Imagine Cartridge (Kate's Kitchen)
Scrappy Moms Stamps (Charmed Life)
DCWV Solid Cardstock
Stickles Glitter
CuttleBug Emboss Folder
Glossy Essentials
Button From Stash
Bakers Twine
Memento Ink (Tuxedo Black)
3D Foam Squares

My card base measures at 5 x 4.75, my cute little toaster along with my cute little toast are all cut at 4". All patterned paper is cut and printed using Kate's Kitchen Cartridge. All other card stock is from my DCWV paper stash. I decided to add little stitch marks to certain elements on my card to make it pop out a little more.
