The Cuttlebug Spot DT Post

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I am so glad you were all able to stop by. This weeks challenge over at The Cuttlebug Spot, is, "Life is like a box of chocolates", make a sweet project with chocolate. Here is the card I made....

As you can see I didn't use actual chocolates, because candy does not last long in my household :) Instead I used my January Peachy Keen SOMK and stamped the entire background with the chocolate stamps. I colored my card using my Spectrum Noirs. I added some Chocolate Chip Timeless Twine. I hand cut out some hearts and embossed them using a chevron embossing folder and added a couple rhinestones. I hope you will all find time to join us in this weeks challenge!! We always have fabulous prizes up for grabs. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Spaced Out !

Hello all, I am so not ready for it to be Monday tomorrow !! I hope you all had a great weekend !? I got to spend some time in my little craft corner this weekend in between cleaning time :) I have a super cute card to show you using some Peachy Keen stamps.

I just love how this card turned out !! I decided to
make and easel card, because the current challenge going on over at Peachy Keen right now is a 3D objects/metal. I started off with a metallic piece of red DCWV  paper & embossed it with a cuttle bug diamond plate, embossing folder. I love this emboss folder, I bought it cause I thought it would be great for cards I make for my hubby and because it's got a masculine feel. I added some thick metal pieces that my hubby brought home for me from his old job almost 5 years ago. I have been hoarding them and when this stamp set came out, I just knew they would go perfect. To me they kinda look like little metal gears, what do you think!? I added some Tuxedo black Timeless twine, know project is ever complete without some twine. Additional items used include; rhinestones (metallic silver & red), loose diamond glitter, black buttons, metallic silver sticker tape, black metallic paper, patterned paper from stash & Spectrum Noirs. I used both the February's & Decembers SOMK by Peachy Keen. The inside sentiment comes from the December kit and the rest is from the February's kit. I hope you all enjoy my take on the challenge. I will also be entering this into the challenge going on over at 4 Crafty Chicks, twine challenge & Scrappy Moms Stamps All Tied Up Challenge. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous night!!!

Peachy Keen Challenge 13-7 :: Sketch

Hope Everyone is having a fantastic Wednesday night!! I am so excited cause I have tomorrow off, yahoo !!I am having a spa morning and get my hair done and then it's a Jayden and Mommy afternoon :) so it should be an awesome day !! Now on with my post, I am going to enter this card over into the Peachy Keen sketch challenge...

I decided to make a birthday card, I also rotated the sketch as well. My stamps are from December PKSC-12. I just love this set there are so many cute sentiments that go perfectly with the images, I decided to just keep it with a simple sentiment. My pattern paper came from the AC Hip Hip Hooray paper pad. I used my Spectrum Noirs to color in the sweet little candles. I also decided to emboss the yellow background paper and then I slightly filed it to give it a distressed look.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a great night!!

FCCB - Challenge # 149 - Kiss the Cook

Good Morning Everyone, I'm sorry my post is going up later than usual. I am not feeling that well this past week the Sick bug has been going around our household and sure enough it got me. I am trying to wait it out, but I think I will be making a trip to doctors office. Anyways, here is my post for this weeks challenge that is happening over at FCCB. This weeks challenge is titled "Kiss The Cook", make a project with a recipe somewhere on it.
I decided to make a recipie box. The box is cut from an SVG file called "Christmas Open House" I purchased it from SVGcuts.com. All the paper and the image on the box was printed and cut using the Kates Kitchen Cricut Imagine cartridge. I just love this cartridge, it's one of my favorites. I think I like it so much cause its very vintage/retro !! I used some of the new twine that was just release over at Timeless Twine, this twine is called "Natural". Make sure you head on over to pick your spool up today!! I hope you all enjoy my project, and I hope you will all join in on the fun this week!!
